Its become a tradition for us to visit Niagara-on-the-lake on the May long weekend and this year was no different. First, we go for a coffee and walk through Queen St. However, its become so busy on this particular weekend that we now scurry to the park at the end of “downtown”. With six kids in tow is was a wise move ;). After the kids get tired we’re all ready for lunch at the Ravine Vineyard just 10km away from Niagara-on-the-lake. They’ve opened a new pizza-only type of restaurant right next to their main and it is amazing. Sometimes having two things on the menu is what you need, especially when it comes to pizza. The kids played for hours on the grass and with rocks. Times like these make me doubt the need for ANY toys, since their entertainment was so simple yet so long lasting. Amazing friends, food and weather made for a great day Long live May 2-4!
